I used to think photography meant owning an expensive camera, but some of the best photos I have taken were on my phone while walking around campus or waiting for transit. Do others here use phone photography seriously, or do you feel a real camera still makes a big difference?

Phone cameras are good enough for most people now. The bigger difference is learning composition—where the subject sits, how the background looks, and whether the photo tells a story. I have seen blurry phone photos with more feeling than perfect camera shots.
